Senior Project Manager (m/f/d) Product Development – Focus on strategic coordination and team leadership
Tasks
- You will work closely with the Business Unit Manager to support the strategic direction of product development and actively participate in the further development of processes.
- You will support the planning and management of projects and drive forward the implementation of strategic initiatives.
- With your expertise, you identify potential for innovation and promote teamwork to develop ideas and drive continuous improvement.
- You will work closely with various internal and external partners and ensure that all parties involved collaborate in a focused and efficient manner.
- You are responsible for the optimal use of resources within the team and promote the continuous development and motivation of employees.
- You will assist in the acquisition of new projects and represent our company at trade fairs and customer events in order to maintain and develop long-term relationships.
- You ensure quality by monitoring standards, analysing errors and initiating continuous optimisation measures.
- Regular reporting creates transparency and ensures close coordination with business unit management and other relevant stakeholders.
Profile
- Completed training as a technical product designer or in a related field, ideally supplemented by a degree or further training in management, leadership, business administration or a comparable field.
- Several years of practical experience in the product development of complex plastic parts and in-depth knowledge of project management. Market and industry knowledge in the automotive sector (preferably exterior) is an advantage.
- Experience in planning, organising and motivating teams. You are able to successfully lead a team, communicate clear goals and motivate your employees to perform at their best.
- Existing technical and disciplinary management experience and personnel responsibility are desirable.
- In-depth knowledge and practical experience with the Catia design programme Knowledge of customer databases (e.g. KVS, PDMU, Connect, 3DX) is an advantage.
- Excellent MS Office skills, basic knowledge of ERP systems (ideally AP+) and a solid command of English round off your profile.
