Training

Top from the very beginning – embark on a safe career with us!

We are looking for young, motivated people who want to start their career:

You will receive a sound training as a “Werkzeugmechaniker, Fachrichtung Formentechnik” who could then continue in a globally operating company.
We permanently train about 20 apprentices to become skilled workers. A Schneider Form training of 3.5 years on average leads to a top performance. No other industrial company’s apprentices within the jurisdiction of our chamber of industry and commerce have received so many awards over the past 20 years.

We expect you to have graduated from a “Hauptschule” or “Realschule” with good grades in mathematics and physics. You should be interested in modern technology, be dexterous, committed, responsible and enjoy teamwork.

Training Schedule

In the first year of training, we impart metalworking basics: marking, drilling, counterboring, filing, reaming, bending and inspecting in our training workshop.

In the second year, our apprentices work in almost all technical departments of our company. Starting in the design department, in which they will be familiarised with the basic functions of CAD systems. They continue in the modern machine shop, where experienced staff will instruct them in operating programmable machines. Then they will be assigned to an assembly team to learn about the hundreds of components that make a working mould. At the end of the year, the apprentices have to sit for the mid-term exam.

To provide our apprentices with an even greater understanding of how a tool works and how its components are actually produced, in the third and fourth year of training we impart further skills and know-how. This includes self-reliant planning, execution and controlling. To make them understand the interconnectedness of all project stages, our apprentices are part of a project from start to finish. They will then be thoroughly prepared for the final exam.

We look forward to your application!
