Smart-Tool Technology OPTICHECK®

The OptiCheck® hard- and software, developed by Schneider Form, allows a highly precise real-time capture of the tool movements during the injection cycle. For the first time, tool breathing and lifter movement can be located and measured during the individual injection sequence. This allows to optimize the process through injection parameters or corrections on the tool. Both measures generate instant feedback.

Sensors can be placed virtually anywhere in the mould and are designed for a robust production environment, that means entirely maintenance-free. A number of our customers are already using OptiCheck® to determine the optimal process parameters. Other opportunities exist such as the control of the hot runner system via mould breathing to remove visual defects, such as pressure lines.
